Proverbs 7

7:2  Keep my commandments and live; Guard my teaching as the apple of your eye.

This verse means that we should always follow God's commandments. Although everyone knows God's commandments people often forget them and I think it is very easy to ignore the commandments because doing things without following the commandments seems a lot easier sometimes. However, we should always follow his teachings.

Action steps:
I will try to keep in mind God's commandments and "Guard his teaching as the apple of my eye. "

Proverbs 6

6:9  How long will you sleep, sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep?
6:20  My son, keep your father's commandment, And don't forsake your mother's teaching.
These verses caught my eyes because I sleep alot, and I often forget my parents teachings.
Verse 6:9 means that people shouldn't be lazy or procrastinate. They should do their work.
Verse 6:20 means that people should follow church teachings and all the lessons or morals they learned.

Action Steps: I wil try not to sleep during classes and keep in mind of all the teachings.

Proverbs 4

4:27  Don't turn to the right hand nor to the left. Remove your foot from evil.

This verse means that people should avoid all evil and be honest. Instead of deceiving others people should be straight forward. Also, people shouldn't follow the wrong path (right/left). Although it seems more pleasing, it will turn people away from God.

Action Steps: I will try to follow the right path instead of swerving to either left or right. If I stay close to God and be honest, I won't have to sin.

Proverbs 5

5: 3~4
For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil.
But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.

This verse means that it can be very tempting to sin because sin makes things look easier and bring more pleaseure. However, it is like an two-edged sword that will bring negative consequences although it may bring some pleasure for a short period of time.

Action steps:
I will try to make the right decisions every time instead of finding a easier way that leads me to sin.

Proverbs 3

3: 5~6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, on your own intelligence rely not;
In all your ways be mindful of him, and he will make straight your paths.

This verse means that people should be faithful and believe in God instead of following their instincts.
God will lead people to the right path if people trust God with all their hearts.
This verse caught my eyes because people tend to act on their own instead of believing in God.

Action step:
Whenever there's a challenge I will remain faithful and believe that God will find the right path for me.

Proverbs 2

2: 20~21
Thus you may walk in the way of good men, and keep to the paths of the jsut.
For the upright will dwell in the land, the honest will remain in it;

This verse caught my eye because it reminds people how they should live with others these days.
Instead of being dishonest or following an unjust path people should seek justice and goodness.
That way, people can live in harmony and be successful.

Action step
Even if it seems like the problem can be solved easily by being dishonest or unjust, I will try to be honest and stick up for right things.

Proverbs 1

This is the fate of everyone greedy of loot: unlawful gain takes away the life of him who aquires it
Proverbs 1:19

 This phrase means that greedy people who had unjust gains will have their lives taken away.
It teaches us that greedy people will eventually be punished.
It tells us try not to gain things in an unjust way just because we want them.

Action steps:
I learned that I shouldn't be greedy or try to get things that I don't need.
